Hertling

Leider war unsere Erfahrung mit Hertling sehr enttäuschend. Obwohl wir alle Vorgaben eingehalten und frühzeitig alles organisiert hatten, wurde unsere Lieferung um drei Wochen verzögert – ohne dass jemand Verantwortung übernommen oder sich entschuldigt hätte.

Wir hatten die Entladung klar für Kalenderwoche 17 gewünscht, doch aufgrund interner Fehlkommunikation wurde sie auf Woche 19 verschoben. Als wir versuchten, das zu klären, bekamen wir nur Ausreden – zum Beispiel, dass eine Mitarbeiterin im Urlaub sei. Das ist aus Kundensicht einfach nicht akzeptabel.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist das Team, das in Berlin die Beladung durchgeführt hat: sehr freundlich, sorgfältig und professionell. Doch die Organisation im Hintergrund war leider das genaue Gegenteil – chaotisch, unzuverlässig und nicht kundenorientiert.

Ein Umzugsunternehmen sollte den Prozess erleichtern, nicht erschweren. Wir würden Hertling basierend auf dieser Erfahrung nicht weiterempfehlen.

We moved in December 2023 from Germany/Frankfurt to UAE/Dubai and, after getting quotes and visits from several contenders, went with Hertling: it was an excellent choice! The move was very professional, literally nothing broke, our belongings were packaged very well and, almost equally important, the team in Dubai was also excellent, such that unpacking and moving in worked very well, too.

Having experience with several movers (domestic and international) I can highly recommend Hertling in Frankfurt (Mr. Amuedo / Mr. Lorisika / Ms. Abel) for professional service, very reasonable pricing and excellent customer service! Any time again!!

After 16 years we moved with Hertling again. Many of the employees from back then were still active. The move was very punctual, efficient and well organized. Parts that were not yet packaged or were at risk (large pictures, lamps, mirrors) were well packaged. The extra service was also very good, such as dismantling and assembling lamps and furniture that needed to be taken apart (including Ikea furniture). Everything went smoothly, very friendly. You could tell that the people are well trained and what is important to the customers (e.g. the perfect installation of a heavy mirror on the plasterboard wall of the new apartment or reconnecting the washing machine and dishwasher).

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: €2600

That was my third private move with Hertling and like the times before I am thrilled. The preparation (cost estimate, putting up signs, etc.) works quickly and silently, special requests (packing, electrician, plumber, individual items to a different location than the move) are taken as a matter of course. The actual move is highly professional. The guys from Hertling are punctual, fast and very careful. It's downright fun to watch the group at work. Great service worth every penny.

A rather complex move was mastered brilliantly by the competent Hertling team. An apartment with a lot of sensitive moving goods had to be moved into a larger, partly already furnished apartment, whereby difficult conditions prevailed both during loading and unloading (long distances, narrow driveway, loading via balcony with lift, etc.). From the very friendly and detailed scheduling to the very well-working, cheerful and professional moving team (which also took over the packing) with a competent and friendly team leader, the entire service was above average, including the skilled and well-versed carpentry and Electrical work. Clear recommendation!

I moved with Hertling for the third time in June 2020, this time my father (87), who closed his house in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and moved to Berlin. Everything went as agreed (vehicle, times, price). The staff and their equipment were professional. You handled the old furniture and antique collection parts very well and carefully. I also found it good that they took a lot of packaging (including foreign items from IKEA and such, a large amount of cardboard and plastic) with them and disposed of them for us. Everything arrived completely and undamaged. Fragile parts that were not packed by us were well protected by the movers and packed separately. The staff were friendly and seemed experienced and trained. The assignment / sorting of the labeled boxes at the target address also went according to plan. All in all, an all-round professional handling of the move. Some providers may be cheaper, but professionalism and quality as well as the reliability and security were absolutely worth the price.

Service cost: €1960

After calling Hertling, a competent and friendly employee was at our home within two days. We discussed all the details with him. Some of the furniture would have to be stored for a short time, this was possible without any problems.
The offer reached us again after two days.
A comparison with other offers obtained showed that it was not the cheapest offer, but the services were correctly and completely described in comparison to the other cheap offers. With these cheaper offers it was clear where the provider speculated on supplements.
The order therefore went to the cheapest offer, Hertling.
The work was excellent and on time.
The furniture was packed very well for storage. The later delivery worked without any problems.
We had additional boxes of our own for the move, which were transported without any discussion.
I experienced this very differently with previous moves with well-known companies.
In the end, exactly the offer price was billed, the empty boxes were picked up and not "every roll of adhesive tape" was counted.
The next move will definitely be with Hertling again.

We had moved from a 4-room apartment with a lot of heavy and sensitive furniture and objects, so we had to rely on reliable moving helpers and were looking for a professional company because of dubious experiences with cheap offers. Even at the preliminary meeting, the employees made a good and tidy impression. The also very capable and punctual Hertling team packed them carefully and handled them carefully so that all belongings were undamaged. The items to be stored could be stored in their packaging. Specialists were also called in for a particularly heavy device. There were no subsequent price increases either, the unused boxes were taken back. The committed employees also made a good impression personally, you don't want to trust everyone with their personal belongings.
