Hertling

Leider war unsere Erfahrung mit Hertling sehr enttäuschend. Obwohl wir alle Vorgaben eingehalten und frühzeitig alles organisiert hatten, wurde unsere Lieferung um drei Wochen verzögert – ohne dass jemand Verantwortung übernommen oder sich entschuldigt hätte.

Wir hatten die Entladung klar für Kalenderwoche 17 gewünscht, doch aufgrund interner Fehlkommunikation wurde sie auf Woche 19 verschoben. Als wir versuchten, das zu klären, bekamen wir nur Ausreden – zum Beispiel, dass eine Mitarbeiterin im Urlaub sei. Das ist aus Kundensicht einfach nicht akzeptabel.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist das Team, das in Berlin die Beladung durchgeführt hat: sehr freundlich, sorgfältig und professionell. Doch die Organisation im Hintergrund war leider das genaue Gegenteil – chaotisch, unzuverlässig und nicht kundenorientiert.

Ein Umzugsunternehmen sollte den Prozess erleichtern, nicht erschweren. Wir würden Hertling basierend auf dieser Erfahrung nicht weiterempfehlen.

We moved in December 2023 from Germany/Frankfurt to UAE/Dubai and, after getting quotes and visits from several contenders, went with Hertling: it was an excellent choice! The move was very professional, literally nothing broke, our belongings were packaged very well and, almost equally important, the team in Dubai was also excellent, such that unpacking and moving in worked very well, too.

Having experience with several movers (domestic and international) I can highly recommend Hertling in Frankfurt (Mr. Amuedo / Mr. Lorisika / Ms. Abel) for professional service, very reasonable pricing and excellent customer service! Any time again!!

I moved with Hertling for the third time in June 2020, this time my father (87), who closed his house in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and moved to Berlin. Everything went as agreed (vehicle, times, price). The staff and their equipment were professional. You handled the old furniture and antique collection parts very well and carefully. I also found it good that they took a lot of packaging (including foreign items from IKEA and such, a large amount of cardboard and plastic) with them and disposed of them for us. Everything arrived completely and undamaged. Fragile parts that were not packed by us were well protected by the movers and packed separately. The staff were friendly and seemed experienced and trained. The assignment / sorting of the labeled boxes at the target address also went according to plan. All in all, an all-round professional handling of the move. Some providers may be cheaper, but professionalism and quality as well as the reliability and security were absolutely worth the price.

After calling Hertling, a competent and friendly employee was at our home within two days. We discussed all the details with him. Some of the furniture would have to be stored for a short time, this was possible without any problems.
The offer reached us again after two days.
A comparison with other offers obtained showed that it was not the cheapest offer, but the services were correctly and completely described in comparison to the other cheap offers. With these cheaper offers it was clear where the provider speculated on supplements.
The order therefore went to the cheapest offer, Hertling.
The work was excellent and on time.
The furniture was packed very well for storage. The later delivery worked without any problems.
We had additional boxes of our own for the move, which were transported without any discussion.
I experienced this very differently with previous moves with well-known companies.
In the end, exactly the offer price was billed, the empty boxes were picked up and not "every roll of adhesive tape" was counted.
The next move will definitely be with Hertling again.

We had moved from a 4-room apartment with a lot of heavy and sensitive furniture and objects, so we had to rely on reliable moving helpers and were looking for a professional company because of dubious experiences with cheap offers. Even at the preliminary meeting, the employees made a good and tidy impression. The also very capable and punctual Hertling team packed them carefully and handled them carefully so that all belongings were undamaged. The items to be stored could be stored in their packaging. Specialists were also called in for a particularly heavy device. There were no subsequent price increases either, the unused boxes were taken back. The committed employees also made a good impression personally, you don't want to trust everyone with their personal belongings.

After a long search we decided on the Hertling company. A quick call, an appointment made and the friendly employee was already at the door and walked through our apartment with us and rated everything. Number of boxes, how many trucks, parking bans everything was sent to us a few days later in a good offer. There were no additional claims later either. Specialists such as carpenters and electricians were also on site on the day of the move, really professional. The move itself was well organized, everything went hand in hand.
We would move with Hertling again at any time.

I moved with Hertling at the end of June 2020. Everything went perfectly. I got an appointment quickly. An employee came by in advance to estimate the size of the move. The boxes were just enough (2 boxes were over). On the day of the move, the employees arrived on time and were very friendly and everything went very quickly. In the end I wasn't charged anything extra and it actually cost a little less than was previously estimated. The boxes can be picked up very easily by Hertling, even weeks after the move. I would definitely recommend Hertling.

I have already moved twice with Hertling within Germany (4-person household: Berlin-NRW-Berlin). We also carried out 3 smaller moves such as "room swap" within the house in Berlin with the Hertling company.

From the cost estimate to the invoice, everything went perfectly!
The staff did a great job: on time, quickly and professionally! They were friendly and always relaxed the situation, which is very tense, and did their job competently. There were no shortcomings. In addition to packers and removal workers, Hertling also has specialists such as electricians and carpenters who can respond to special requests. The team that stood by us worked diligently and hand in hand. There were no discrepancies between the offer and the invoice.
If moving: then Hertling! A low-cost provider does not come into my house.

We had very good experiences with an earlier move, albeit within a very limited radius of only approx. 20 km.
So we decided to use this moving company again, despite the significantly higher price compared to other forwarding agencies. We shouldn't have done that.

The move was carried out by subcontractors, employees were completely demotivated except for the carrier, furniture was placed unpacked next to the truck, the promised carpenter did not even come, so the carrier did this work (electrical work and fixing wall cupboards), although he said he was doing it was not authorized at all, had to perform.

Consistently damaged furniture, which unfortunately was only discovered after the deadline for complaints after the relocation chaos (scratches on furniture and bed frame). Obvious damage, which was immediately reported and recorded, was not accommodating and disinterested
"settled" Conclusion: never again and hands off.

That was my third private move with Hertling and like the times before I am thrilled. The preparation (cost estimate, putting up signs, etc.) works quickly and silently, special requests (packing, electrician, plumber, individual items to a different location than the move) are taken as a matter of course. The actual move is highly professional. The guys from Hertling are punctual, fast and very careful. It's downright fun to watch the group at work. Great service worth every penny.

A rather complex move was mastered brilliantly by the competent Hertling team. An apartment with a lot of sensitive moving goods had to be moved into a larger, partly already furnished apartment, whereby difficult conditions prevailed both during loading and unloading (long distances, narrow driveway, loading via balcony with lift, etc.). From the very friendly and detailed scheduling to the very well-working, cheerful and professional moving team (which also took over the packing) with a competent and friendly team leader, the entire service was above average, including the skilled and well-versed carpentry and Electrical work. Clear recommendation!

We decided on Herling after an invitation to tender for our move to Spain, although it was the most expensive offer and this company was in competition with large companies. The reason for this was the discussions that we had had with the employees about their offer and the comparison offers, which had turned out to be competent, flexible and accommodating. The same could not be said of the employees of the competing companies.

And in fact the move was carried out as we had hoped. Because of the corona-related entry bans to Spain, we had to change the moving date several times, which Herling understood.

The final move was carried out professionally, quickly and in a relaxed atmosphere. No damage to our removal goods and no missing items.

We have already moved internationally with Hertling several times, most recently from Berlin to New York. In terms of service culture, competence and experience, we can unreservedly recommend the company.

Especially the really excellent packaging and the unloading / assembly abroad (with partner companies) catch the eye. The Hertling employees also take their time personally in advance of the move and discuss all the details with the customer (vehicle shipping, optimal date for container delivery, etc.).

It is not without reason that Hertling has long been successful in the market as a traditional Berlin company - and will continue to do so with its high quality.

I organized a move for my mother. Some furniture had to be brought into the new apartment and some had to be disposed of. Even on the phone, I had a good feeling about Hertling. An employee came quickly to do the recording and the offer came quickly. The Hertling team arrived on time and everyone was friendly and quick. The work was done cleanly and everything was implemented as discussed. I am very satisfied and I recommend Hertling with a clear conscience. Many thanks to the entire team.

After 16 years we moved with Hertling again. Many of the employees from back then were still active. The move was very punctual, efficient and well organized. Parts that were not yet packaged or were at risk (large pictures, lamps, mirrors) were well packaged. The extra service was also very good, such as dismantling and assembling lamps and furniture that needed to be taken apart (including Ikea furniture). Everything went smoothly, very friendly. You could tell that the people are well trained and what is important to the customers (e.g. the perfect installation of a heavy mirror on the plasterboard wall of the new apartment or reconnecting the washing machine and dishwasher).
